About Me

I’ve been teaching automotive technology in high schools for the past six years, helping students build practical hands-on skills along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Before that, I spent 20 years as an automotive service technician, including time traveling with professional race teams. That part of my career gave me some great stories to share in the classroom and help to show students how exciting and diverse a career in the automotive industry can be.

I’m a strong believer in the value of shop classes—they provide students with a chance to succeed in ways they might not have experienced in more traditional academic settings. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students gain confidence and discover their strengths through hands-on work.

I’m also someone who really enjoys learning new things—whether it’s the latest tools, technology, or teaching techniques—and I bring that curiosity into the classroom to keep things
